Hi! I'm Hilary Sohn....
. . . I’ve been a massage therapist since 2002, and am certified in traditional Swedish Massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy.
I also have training in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute, Orthopedic Massage with James Waslaski, Thai Massage with Margie Meshew, and Myoskeletal Alignment with Erik Dalton.
I use an integrative approach that makes use of multiple massage modalities so I can tailor massage sessions to best fit your unique needs. I also believe in integrating body, mind and spirit by bringing awareness to people of how the physical body can hold and exhibit mental and emotional strain and trauma.
We exist physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually in one self, and each aspect of ourselves is intrinsically tied to all other aspects. When one part of the self is imbalanced, it can affect the health of other aspects. In releasing restrictions in one part of the self, we assist the healing of the entire being.
My approach empowers clients to take charge of their own health and well-being through knowledge, awareness and understanding of the total self.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University, and a master’s degree in Psychoeducational Processes from Temple University. I also worked as a corporate marketer for over seven years, so I am no stranger to the stress and strain of the corporate world and understand the unique physical, mental and emotional effect the business world can have on a person. I was fortunate enough to have my life take an unexpected twist in the road so that I could follow my life’s true calling in the realm of healing.

When I can tear myself away from the best job in the world (yes, it is!), I enjoy spending time with my husband travelling the globe, doing yoga with my favorite yoga community, reading or simply catching up with friends. I believe in laughing at least once a day, living as simple and stress-free life as possible, and maintaining an attitude of gratitude at all times. Life is as beautiful as we believe it to be.
**Something to consider . . .
Illness and discomfort in the body can be different ways for us to experience this life and to grow in new ways. Physical healing may or may not be part of your overall journey, but regardless of the physical outcome of your treatment session, you will leave feeling more balanced, clearer and more aware of yourself and your state of being.
